(Mendive)Next to Saint Jean Pied de Port, in the heart of the exceptional natural site of the Iraty forest, our cheese dairy welcomes you for a gourmet and instructive visit around the cheese secrets of the Basque Country.This cheese factory, which aims to enhance the production of the shepherds of the valley and to ensure the sustainability of future generations, is a model in terms of respect for the environment (recyclable materials, energy optimization, landscape integration, etc.).The site has been specially designed for the visit. The corridor, equipped with large panoramic windows on the production tool, crosses the whole of the cheese dairy and makes it possible to follow the cycle of manufacture of the cheeses. Videos in Basque and French punctuate the discovery.The visit ends with the tasting of the products of the Agour house.Everyone is then free to enter the shop's maturing cellar to choose their favorite cheese in order to take home the best of the Basque Country!New: Noon at Irati Come and have lunch in the heart of an exceptional panorama every lunchtime. We offer you a traditional Basque meal with the products of the House: Sausage, Bayonne Piperade ham, Ossau-Iraty sheep's cheese and sheep's milk ice cream.
(Larressore)Bipia is an artisanal production company that has been making sauces and condiments made from Espelette pepper (the only AOP spice in France) in Larressore, in the heart of the Basque Country, since 1997.Most of the production operations are carried out by hand.Bipia offers a range of products without coloring, without additives, and without preservatives, some of which have been organic for ten years . It consists of sauces, condiments, spreads and cooked vegetables.Bipia favors the good, the beautiful and the local... by delighting the taste buds, by sharing the love of its region. L'Atelier du Chocolat
BAYONNEFounded by the Andrieu family in 1951 in Bayonne, L'Atelier du Chocolat is above all French craftsmanship at the service of taste and creativity.Located in Bayonne in our chocolate factory, our museum - discovery trail takes you on a discovery of chocolate.
