The Torre Fuerte de Baños de Rioja, is a homage tower from the 13th century, and was part of a fortress that the López de Haro family, (Lords of Vizcaya), ordered to build at the end of the year 1200, it was D.Diego López III de Haro (founder of the town of Bilbao). Originally it had two towers, a wall with defensive bastions, a moat, and it was finished off with battlements. This Strong Tower is declared a Historical Heritage.

The tower has four floors. A comfortable elevator directly accesses each of its four beautiful and spacious 35m2 suites, located one on each floor, they can also be accessed by a wrought iron spiral staircase.

They are all decorated and set in a marked medieval style, taking great care of every detail and every ornament. They are equipped with King-size beds, which can be converted into two beds, have heating, TV, desk, Wi-Fi, equip. music, minibar, kettle with tea and coffee service, extra bed, and complete bathrooms with hairdryer and hospitality products. The ground floor, or “noble floor”, is used as a living room, where breakfast is served. And at the top of the tower, we find a beautiful terrace-solarium, to enjoy the impressive views of the Oja Valley.
