Altzueta

Although the date of its foundation is unknown, there are documents that prove that the Altzueta Sidreria was dedicated to the sale of cider as early as 1878 and continues today in the 4th generation. In Altzueta, all the ciders sold are of quality and certified throughout the process by the HAZI Foundation (Basque Government). All of them are under the protection of Euskal Sagardoa (Denomination of Origin) and Gorenak. The txotx is a seasonal service that lasts 4 months (from January to April). Standing up, the visitor tastes a single menu made up of cod omelette, fried cod or in sauce, chop, walnuts and cheese with apple jam; In our house we add the classic tiles and cigarettes from Tolosa.
