It will also allow us to improve the oenological level of the BARS AND RESTAURANTS and expand knowledge of the world’s wines and satisfy the demand of customers who love good wine. \nEvery three months there will be a specialized presentation to hoteliers of 9 different wines\, which will be regional\, national and international\, so that each establishment can select the three wines that will be part of its Travelwine offer. \nOnce it starts\, it has been programmed to be present in the establishments for an indefinite period of time\, so that it forms part of the daily offer of each establishment. \nThe establishment will offer these 3 high-quality wines by the glass\, which must be one of them from Navarra\, another from Spain and another from around the world\, allowing the CORAVIN to maintain it without spoiling.

SUMMARY:Cazuelica and DO Navarra wine week
DESCRIPTION:During this week the bars enhance and value the recovery of traditional cuisine through its food and cooking methods\, for which the presentation must also be made in a support according to tradition such as the cazuelica. The elaborations are proposed with a pairing of DO Navarra wines. The cazuelica is offered at a fixed price for all establishments. \nA base jury goes through all the establishments to select those that will go on to the final. In this phase and\, before a different jury\, they will present their cazuelicas again\, which\, after deliberation\, will receive the highest awards.

DESCRIPTION:The bars mainly offer this traditional product that is so popular with all audiences with two different tortilla options: 1. Traditional potato omelette: Basic ingredients: potato\, egg\, salt\, olive oil and optional onion. 2. Potato omelette “with….”: \nNavarra Tortilla Week is organized by the Navarra Hospitality and Tourism Association (AEHN) in collaboration with CaixaBank\, Heinneken\, the Hospitality Cooperative as official supplier and CPAEN. In addition\, it has the collaboration of the Department of Tourism of the Government of Navarra and the Pamplona City Council. \nDYNAMIC \nThe event will be held from June 10 to 19\, 2022\, in which a total of 27 establishments will participate\, who will offer the public one or two tortilla options\, with which they will later present themselves (if they wish) to the “Contest of Tortillas”: \n\nTraditional potato omelette: Basic ingredients: potato\, egg\, salt\, olive oil and optional onion.\nPotato omelette “with….”: Based on a potato omelette\, each establishment will add any type of ingredient it deems appropriate\, in order to give its skewer a touch of originality and flavour.\n\nThe Hospitality Association has published displays\, flyers and posters listing the establishments and their address\, so that those who go to taste the pinchos can create their own routes. The most original photo will be awarded by a jury. \nThe requirements to participate are: \n\nUpload a photo to Instagram in which one or more tortilla skewers appear indicating the name of the establishment.\nFollow @hostelerianavarra\nTag the photos with the official hashtag #TortillaNavarra2022\n\nPOTATO OMELETTE: NAVARRE ORIGIN \nThe first known document in which a reference to the potato omelette appears is from Navarre. It is an anonymous “mousetrap memorial”\, addressed to the Cortes of Navarra in 1817. It explains the foods eaten by farmers and the basic ingredients of the potato omelette appear: eggs\, potato and oil. \nLegend has it that it was General Tomás de Zumalacárregui who popularized the potato omelette as a simple\, quick and nutritious dish with which to satisfy the appetite of his troops. \nThis version of the legend states that a Navarran housewife invented the potato omelette\, in whose home the aforementioned Zumalacárregui stayed. The lady\, from a humble family\, made a scrambled egg with the only food she had\, which was eggs\, onions and potatoes.
